Herman knows tires : Herman’s Tire Service delivering quality fast ...

How long do you think it should take to change all four tires on your car ? One hour ? Two hours ? Three hours ? Longer ? Ask Herman McGarrah the same question, and he'll tell you 15 minutes. And he's totally serious.

And if you question how that can be humanly possible, he'd be more than happy to roll up his sleeves and show you himself - even at age 74.

"He can still change two tires to my one," said Rick Hittson, who has worked for Herman's Tire Service on Arkansas Highway 112 in downtown Cave Springs for seven years. "He could whup anyone."

To not only remain in business, but to continue to thrive for 50 years, as Herman's Tire Service has, you have to be doing something right. Speed is a gift McGarrah has always had going for him. But he'll tell you there's another ingredient that's key.

Program's costs balloon as firms recruit clients

We have community fairs, friends and family days, and we do present our services to the whole entire community," Hopkins said of the company he started in 2001. "It's called community support, and we want the community to be aware."

State officials now say that some clients of Hopkins' company -- and others like it -- don't need mental-health services.

The state wants companies that broke the rules to pay back $59 million; it has demanded that Dominion repay $1.5 million. It's trying to stop the company from billing Medicaid, the federal health insurance program for the poor and disabled.

Community support is a new service, born in 2006 as the state sought to move treatment out of government offices and into people's homes, schools, community centers -- places where they live.

Good afternoon Astros fans. After consuming all the information that I could on the hometown nine since the end of last season, I have finally gotten around to giving a breakdown on this year's team. While things aren't necessarily great, two things have come to the forefront: 1. The Astros are improved; and 2. They will not be as bad as the experts are saying. Let's start with number 2, and you may ask, how do I feel so confident in the face of all those experts who say the Astros will tank. Well, its easy, as while the Astros will have some glaring holes in their team, nobody could be as bad as some of the predictions that the experts have ponied up about the Astros. IMPROVEMENT One of the first things we have to look at is that with all the problems the Astros had last year (Jennings, Mo, Jason Lane, Chris Sampson on the DL, Woody, etc.) they still managed to win 79 games.

Toothless Serb syndrome

Finally a well thought out article amongst all the reactionary posts that circulate this topic. Also a glorious return to form to the reasoned posts I was used to when this was a weekly diary. Please more like this or better yet go back to the diary. Pretty please.

Shocking Revelation in Missing Teen Emily Sander Case

An 18-year-old Kansas student who went missing over the weekend is now believed to have lead a secret double life as an online porn star. A woman that looks curiously similar to missing 18-year-old Emily Sander was found on a Zoey Zane website (zoey-zane.com).

Nikki Watson, a close friend of Emily Sander, told reporters, "She enjoyed it. She is a young teenage girl and she wanted to be in the movies and enjoyed movies. She needed the extra money. Nobody in El Dorado knew besides her close friends." The two went to school together at Butler Community College.

Police involved in the investigation have acknowledged that they are aware of the website, but have so far refused to confirm whether or not Emily Sanders is in fact "Zoey Zane." They would also not reveal whether the Zoey Zane website was at all connected to her disappearance.
